What is a drench hose?

ANSI defines a drench hose as a supplemental device made up of a flexible hose that is connected to a flushing liquid that can be used to flush eyes and body areas. A drench hose would only be used when an injured worker cannot reach a safety eyewash or emergency shower but does not replace other types of emergency equipment.
