What is a Hazard Vulnerability Analysis (HVA)?

Hazard Vulnerability Analyses (HVAs) are used to identify risks and threats that impact the facility and local community. An HVA may score risks by taking into account the likelihood of an adverse event happening and the effect that the event has on the facility and the community. These risk scores may be used to decide how to allocate resources.
