Medical Gas and Vacuum Management aims to teach supervisors and managers how to identify and respond to code compliance and safety issues related to the medical gas and vacuum system. Relevant codes and other requirements that will be addressed in this course include those stipulated in NPFA 55: Compressed Gases and Cryogenic Fluids and FGI Guidelines. Since only ASSE-licensed technicians are approved to install and breach these systems, the learning materials provide guidance to leadership on how to verify third-party installation, testing, and maintenance procedures to ensure proper system operation.
