Legacy FM is seeking a Technical Writer/Graphics Designer to join our team in developing quality, written and visual material in support of our company’s training program development efforts.  This full-time or part-time (20-30 hours/week) position offers flexible hours and 100% remote work. Healthcare facilities management (or similar) industry experience is preferred.

Job Duties:

• Creates high-quality written and visual material for educational training program development (including training materials, presentations, course materials, and test development) and ensures consistency of content across all training materials
• Interviews and collects technical information for training program development from industry subject matter experts, technical databases, and other credible sources
• Ensures content aligns with the Legacy FM brand standards
• Ensures content is simple, concise, clear, and appropriate for the training audience
• Edits written material from others for clarity, grammar and spelling

Education:

• Bachelor’s (or in pursuit of) in Writing, English, Journalism, Communication, Advertising, Education, or related field

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 5 years content development or technical writing experience (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Proficient in Canva
• Experience in Sketchup & Camtasia (preferred)
• Independent ability to effectively research specific topics using various resources
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Experience in document and graphic design
