Course Description:

Building upon Building Infrastructure 301, this course equips managers and supervisors with the knowledge and skills necessary to confidently and effectively train other employees on various components of passive life safety and building infrastructure.  Participants will learn what steps need to occur when occupancy type changes or wall ratings need to increase or are permitted to decrease.

Learning Objectives:

1. Demonstrate the ability to field verify accuracy and interpretation of passive life components and building construction based on the life safety drawings
2. Demonstrate the ability to appropriately identity necessary passive life safety system changes based on occupancy changes and/or construction renovations
