Course Description:

EOC Committee 101 focuses on how to lead and participate in Novant Health’s Environment of Care (EOC) Committee or Subcommittees. This course provides information on the Committee’s objectives, processes, and procedures which focus on the continuous improvement of the Environment of Care.

Learning Objectives:

1. Recall and describe subsections of Environment of Care
2. Describe best practices and procedures when performing Annual Reviews, Safety Minutes Reviews, and similar activities
3. Define performance improvement as it relates to Environment of Care
4. List measures and methods which support the continuous improvement of Environment of Care
5. Establish and interpret Environment of Care scorecards
