Healthcare-Associated Infection (HAI) Prevention 101 teaches essential practices for preventing contamination and the spread of infectious diseases within healthcare facilities. The course covers the definition and adverse outcomes of HAIs, standard protocols for hand hygiene, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). It also explores various scenarios where contamination can occur, such as during construction or operational activities, and reviews effective prevention strategies and the potential impacts of HAIs.
