Course Description:

HAI Prevention 301 teaches participants how to identify and implement mitigation tactics to prevent healthcare-associated infections. Participants will learn air control strategies related to temperature, humidity, and pressure as well as effective water management techniques.

1. Identify various tools used in healthcare spaces to prevent infections and demonstrate how to use them properly
2. Discuss how to respond to elevated infection risks related to water systems in the physical environment
