Fire Alarm Pull Stations – EC.02.03.05 EP 3 

We’re continuing down our path for EC.02.03.05. We debated not even doing a video on pull stations because they are such simple devices, but they are tested incorrectly so often! 

Too many times ITM personnel will open the cover to trigger the alarm. This isn’t a functional test of the device and we have seen failures due to broken internal plastic parts because the device wasn’t properly tested. We have also seen where the handles are frozen/locked-up and can’t activate.

This one is pretty easy to check-up on your ITM team to see if they are testing properly.
