Who we are
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Legacy FM collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://legacy-fm.com website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Legacy FM.

What we collect and and store and why
Purchases
When purchasing a product from us we will ask Users to provide information including their name, billing address, email address, credit card/payment details and account username. This information will be used to:
- Send information about a User’s account and order
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Respond to User requests, including support inquiries and refunds
- Set up User accounts
- Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
- Send product update messages
- Improve our offerings
When making a purchase we will store a User’s name, and billing address, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
Learning Statistics
When taking a course, lesson, quiz, assessment, or any other variation of learning we store your associated statistics.
For private clients this information may be shared with the user’s supervisor, manager, department, leaders, HR department, etc. for benchmarking performance. This information is available to you upon written request and proof of identification by emailing admin[at]legacy-fm.com.
For public clients, we will not share your specific learning statistics with anyone without your explicit written approval. We may aggregate your data for purposes of promoting our products to others and improving our products.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
Your name and email address are recorded when using our contact forms. We do not use the information submitted for marketing purposes unless consent is explicitly given.
Opt-in forms and forms used for downloading marketing material
Your name and email address are recorded when using our opt-in forms or for forms that are required to download material. For these forms you are automatically enrolled in our marketing emails, which may be “unsubscribed” at any time.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the original posting website.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics for website visitor analytics. We do not log any Personal Data of site visitors; IP addresses are anonymized, “Do Not Track” headers and global opt out cookies are honored, and custom data tracking is disabled.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users visit our site, send us a message from a contact form, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site.
Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us.

Who in our company has access to stored data
Members of our team have access to the information users provide us. For example, Owners, Administrators, Managers, and Website Programmers can access:
- Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased, and;
- Customer information like name, email address, and billing information.
Administrators, Managers, and Support Representatives can access:
- Contact information (name and email address) from submitted contact forms.
Our team members have access to this information to provide user support.
Who we share your data with
We share information with third parties who help us provide our service, including:
- Stripe: We accept payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some user data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Please see the Stripe Privacy Policy for more details.
- PayPal: We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some user data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Please see the PayPal Privacy Policy for more details.
- MailChimp: The opt-in option on the contact form transmits the User’s email address to MailChimp. Please see MailChimp Privacy Policy for more details.

Who we share your personal information with
We do not sell, trade, or rent a User’s personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that users have given us permission.
How long we retain your data
We generally store information about users for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for as long as a subscription account remains active with us. Inactive accounts are stored for 10 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes User name, email address and billing address.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators and group leaders can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. How we protect your data
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its users happens over an SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

Legacy FM has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect.
