Chilled Water Fundamentals

What you’ll learn:

The Chilled Water Fundamentals course introduces the essential components and operation of chilled water and condenser water systems used to cool health care facilities. Participants will learn how chillers, air handling units (AHUs), cooling towers, pumps, refrigerants, and distribution equipment work together to remove building heat and maintain reliable cooling. The course also explores the refrigeration cycle, water flow through the system, and the differences between chilled water and condenser water loops. By completing this course, technicians will build the foundational knowledge needed to support routine maintenance, recognize potential system issues, and help maintain safe, reliable, and efficient building cooling.
